Editorial policy
What we publish, how it is checked, and what money can and cannot buy here.
How listings are reviewed
Every submission is read by a person before it appears. We check that the company exists, that the website matches the description, and that the founders are real. We reject anything we cannot verify, and we tell you why so you can correct it.
A Verified badge means a human confirmed the company is real and operating. It is never granted automatically and cannot be purchased.
How our news briefs work
Our briefs are summaries, not reproductions. We monitor public news sources, group coverage of the same story, and publish a short factual summary — at most 70 words — that links to the outlets that did the reporting.
We do not rewrite or republish other publishers' articles. If you want the full story, we send you to the people who reported it. Every brief lists its sources, and a brief cannot be published without at least one.
Briefs are drafted automatically and labelled as such on the page. Automation does not remove our responsibility for what appears here: if we get something wrong, email [email protected] and we will correct or remove it.
Paid placement
Some listings are promoted. Those are always labelled Promoted on the page — you will never have to guess.
Promotion buys visibility only: position in listings and homepage slots. It does not buy a ranking, a Verified badge, favourable coverage, or different link treatment. Free and paid listings receive exactly the same kind of link.
Rankings
Rankings are computed from genuine engagement with time decay, so newer entrants can climb. Promoted status is excluded from the calculation entirely. If rankings could be bought they would not be worth publishing.
Corrections
We fix errors rather than quietly deleting them. If a brief or listing is wrong, tell us and we will correct it, note the correction, or remove the item.
